Pharmacists

The Practice has attached Pharmacists who help to manage requests for medication.

They also run clinics for the following conditions:

  • contraception
  • HRT
  • blood pressure
  • pain management
  • respiratory - asthma / COPD

If you have any questions about medication, please ask Reception and your query will be passed to a Pharmacist who will be able to contact you to discuss your issue further. 

Community Nurses

District Nurses are senior nurses who manage care within the community, leading teams of community nurses and support workers as well as visiting house-bound patients to provide advice and care, wound management, catheter and continence care and medication support. They can assess people to see how to provide nursing care that allows people to remain in their own homes, maintain their independence, or have additional support after discharge from hospital.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
